Ingredients:
- 1 baked 8" pie shell
- 2 cups frozen strawberries (thawed)
- 3 1/4 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 cup sugar
- Pinch of salt
How to Make:
- Bring berries to a boil in a medium saucepan
- Mix the other ingredients together well and add gradually to the berries
- Stir constantly
- Boil until clear, about a minute or two
- Add a few drops of vanilla or almond flavouring if desired
- Pour into the baked pie shell
- Refrigerate after cooled
- Serve with a big dollop of whipped cream!
