
Ingredients:
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1tbsp butter
How to Make:
- Preheat oven to 350F.
- Beat eggs in a mixing bowl until frothy. Add sugar gradually while beating, until thick. Add vanilla.
- Combine flour, baking powder and salt. Stir into egg mixture.
- in a small saucepan, heat the milk and butter until hot. Stir this into the batter.
- Spread into a greased 9"x9" cake pan. Bake for 25-30 minutes; until a inserted wooden pick comes out clean.
- Serve with fresh strawberries and whipped cream (or ice cream) and ENJOY.
*Note: This recipe can easily be doubled and baked in a 9"x13" pan. This cake also freezes really well to serve another time.
